Focus And Scope

I'THISOM  is a scholarly journal published to facilitate research and development of economic sciences based on Islamic Sharia principles. The journal aims to contribute to the understanding and development of Islamic economics, both in terms of theory, application, and policy, while upholding the values of justice, balance, and sustainability in accordance with Islamic teachings.

The focus of this journal includes, but is not limited to, the analysis of fundamental theories in Islamic economics, comparisons with conventional economics, Islamic finance, Shariah business management, micro and macroeconomics from an Islamic perspective, as well as the global development of Islamic economics, halal industries, and the distribution of wealth through zakat, waqf, and Islamic philanthropy.

The scope of the journal includes scholarly articles that examine issues in Islamic economics from theoretical, empirical, and applicative perspectives, including case studies on the application of Islamic economic principles in real-world settings, analysis of Islamic economic policies, innovations in Islamic financial products, models, and applications of Islamic economics in the global economic system, and the relationship between Islamic economics and the concept of sustainability. Additionally, the journal invites research comparing Islamic economics with conventional economics and exploring the practice of Islamic economics in various countries.
