Author Guidelines

GENERAL AUTHOR GUIDELINES

  1. Manuscripts must be submitted through the website: https://ejournal.staialutsmani.ac.id/index.php/ithisom/login
  2. Manuscripts must be written in Indonesian or English, original, unpublished, and not under review for publication in any other journals.
  3. Manuscript identity should include: title, full name of the author(s), affiliation, email, abstract, and keywords.
  4. The manuscript for empirical research consists of: Introduction, Research Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgments, and References.
  5. INTRODUCTION consists of background, research problems, summaries of relevant previous studies, knowledge gap, and research objectives. It is written as one chapter without subtitles.
  6. RESEARCH METHODS consist of research design, data collection, population and sample, data source, data collection technique, and data analysis. It is written in paragraph form.
  7. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: Researchers need to present important (original) field data obtained from interviews, observations, questionnaires, surveys, documents, and other data collection techniques. Findings are presented comprehensively and related to the predetermined scope of research. Findings can be supplemented with tables, graphs, and/or diagrams. Data analysis results are accurately described in this article. The discussion section logically explains these findings, related to relevant sources.
  8. CONCLUSION contains a brief summary of the findings and discussion, presented briefly, narratively, and conceptually. Avoid using bullets and numbering.
  9. ACKNOWLEDGMENTS are addressed to individuals and/or groups as well as institutions that have directly or indirectly assisted the research.
  10. REFERENCES: Citations and references follow the American Psychological Association (APA) 6th edition style, using reference management software (Mendeley/Zotero).
