The concept of khiyar in muamalah jurisprudence serves as protection for the parties in determining the continuation of the contract. The purpose of this study is to determine the practice of buying and selling used cars and analyze the application of khiyar in terms of Islamic economic law in the showroom. The method used is field research with a descriptive qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation with owners, staff, mechanics, and consumers. The results show that the practice of khiyar has been implemented in transactions, particularly in the form of providing consumers with the opportunity to consider the condition of the vehicle before the contract. In general, this practice has reflected the values of Islamic economic law such as honesty and openness. This study concludes that the application of khiyar needs to be continuously strengthened as an effort to improve transaction quality and consumer protection in a sustainable manner.
Febri Yansyah, Eti Karini, Miswanto Copyright (c) 2026 I'THISOM : Jurnal Ekonomi Syariah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.staialutsmani.ac.id/index.php/ithisom/article/view/350 Thu, 30 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 NILAI ORGANISASI KEAGAMAAN DAN POLA KONSUMSI MUSLIM: STUDI PADA ANGGOTA MUHAMMADIYAH, NU, DAN LDII DI DESA JOHO TULUNGAGUNG https://ejournal.staialutsmani.ac.id/index.php/ithisom/article/view/365
This study is motivated by the importance of applying Islamic economic law principles in used car sale and purchase transactions, which are vulnerable to a lack of transparency, particularly regarding the condition of the object of the contract. In fiqh muamalah, the concept of khiyar serves as a protection mechanism for the contracting parties, allowing them to continue or cancel the contract when valid reasons exist under Islamic law. This study aims to describe the practice of used car sale and purchase transactions and to analyze the application of khiyar rights from the perspective of Islamic economic law at a used car showroom. This research employs field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed descriptively. The findings show that elements of khiyar have been applied through the opportunity given to consumers to inspect the vehicle before the contract is concluded. However, the application of khiyar, particularly khiyar al-‘ayb and khiyar al-shart, has not been explicitly formulated in a written agreement, resulting in limited consumer protection. In general, the transaction practice reflects several values of Islamic economic law, such as honesty, transparency, mutual consent, and responsibility. This study concludes that the application of khiyar rights needs to be strengthened through written clauses, warranty mechanisms, and complaint resolution procedures so that used car sale and purchase transactions become fairer, more transparent, and provide better protection for consumers.
Efriza Pahlevi Wulandari, Citra Mulya Sari, Ayuk Wahdanfiari Adibah Copyright (c) 2026 I'THISOM : Jurnal Ekonomi Syariah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.staialutsmani.ac.id/index.php/ithisom/article/view/365 Thu, 30 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 PENGARUH PENGEMBANGAN MODAL TERHADAP KESEJAHTERAAN PETERNAK SAPI PERAH SKALA KECIL DI DESA GERBO KABUPATEN PASURUAN https://ejournal.staialutsmani.ac.id/index.php/ithisom/article/view/358
This study aims to analyze the effect of human capital, social capital, natural capital, physical capital, and financial capital on the welfare of dairy farmers in Gerbo Village, Pasuruan Regency. This research employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory design, involving 50 respondents selected using a census technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression, preceded by validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The results show that all variables simultaneously have a significant effect on farmers’ welfare. Partially, physical capital and financial capital have a positive and significant effect on farmers’ welfare, while human capital, social capital, and natural capital do not have a significant partial effect. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.567 indicates that 56.7% of the variation in welfare can be explained by the model, while the remaining 43.3% is influenced by other factors outside the model. This study is limited by the small number of respondents and the narrow research area, as well as the exclusion of other potential variables outside the model. The practical implications highlight the importance of strengthening access to production facilities and financial resources, as well as enhancing the role of government and related institutions in improving farmers’ welfare sustainably.
Mei Puji Lestari, Muhammad Nizar, Alimatul Farida Copyright (c) 2026 I'THISOM : Jurnal Ekonomi Syariah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.staialutsmani.ac.id/index.php/ithisom/article/view/358 Thu, 30 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 PENGARUH KUALITAS PRODUK DAN HARGA TERHADAP KEPUASAN PELANGGAN TOSERBA MWC TURI https://ejournal.staialutsmani.ac.id/index.php/ithisom/article/view/348
The retail sector in Indonesia has experienced rapid growth alongside economic development, changes in consumer lifestyles, and advancements in information technology. The shift in consumption patterns from traditional to modern retail has intensified business competition, extending beyond urban areas to sub-districts and rural regions. In this context, minimarkets play a strategic role as providers of daily necessities. This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality and price on customer satisfaction at Toserba MWC Turi. The research employs a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Data analysis techniques include validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, hypothesis testing (t-test and F-test), and the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) using multiple linear regression analysis. The sample consists of 93 respondents, and data were collected through questionnaires. The results indicate that product quality (X1) and price (X2) have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction (Y), both partially and simultaneously. The price variable has a more dominant influence, contributing 51.2%, compared to product quality at 43.8%. The Adjusted R Square value of 55.6% shows that these variables explain customer satisfaction, while the remaining 44.4% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
Ahmad Afan Zaini, M. The scope of research includes the process of implementing digital systems, the obstacles faced, and optimization strategies that can increase productivity and profitability. The method used is a qualitative approach with a type of descriptive research, through interview, observation, and documentation techniques, with research informants consisting of cooperative administrators in the milk deposit section and farmers. The results of the study show that the digitization of milk deposit data collection improves recording efficiency, recapitulation accuracy, and information transparency for farmers. However, the implementation is not optimal because there are still inconsistencies in manual and digital data, uneven system implementation, limited infrastructure, and uneven human resource capacity. The conclusion of this study is that the digitization of milk deposit data collection plays an important role in increasing the productivity and efficiency of the dairy industry, but optimization strategies are needed in the form of technology equity, human resource capacity building, and real-time system integration so that the benefits can be felt optimally and sustainably.
Muhammad Rohim, Abd Ghafur, Nurul Fadila Copyright (c) 2026 I'THISOM : Jurnal Ekonomi Syariah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.staialutsmani.ac.id/index.php/ithisom/article/view/353 Thu, 30 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 EFEKTIVITAS PEMBIAYAAN SYARIAH PADA KSPPS BMT BIM JAWA TIMUR TERHADAP PERKEMBANGAN USAHA RETAIL DI KABUPATEN TUBAN https://ejournal.staialutsmani.ac.id/index.php/ithisom/article/view/351
This study aims to analyze the effect of Islamic financing effectiveness provided by KSPPS BMT BIM Jawa Timur on the development of retail businesses in Tuban Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method and a cross-sectional design. Data were collected from 78 retail business actors who had received financing from KSPPS BMT BIM Jawa Timur, selected using purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The results show that Islamic financing effectiveness has a positive and significant effect on retail business development, as indicated by a regression coefficient of 0.682 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination shows an R Square value of 0.396, meaning that Islamic financing effectiveness explains 39.6% of the variation in retail business development, while the remaining 60.4% is influenced by other factors outside the research model. These findings indicate that more effective financing, reflected in ease of access, suitability of financing, perceived benefits, ease of repayment, and BMT service quality, can support business development through increased turnover, stock expansion, business stability, and overall business growth. From an Islamic economic perspective, Islamic financing contributes to the principles of justice, partnership, and welfare, as well as the maqashid sharia framework, particularly in preserving and developing wealth (hifz al-mal). This study implies that effective Islamic financing serves not only as a source of business capital but also as an instrument for empowering retail businesses in a sustainable manner.
Aulia Devi Rahmawati, Mugiyati Copyright (c) 2026 I'THISOM : Jurnal Ekonomi Syariah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.staialutsmani.ac.id/index.php/ithisom/article/view/351 Thu, 30 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 STATE BUDGET EFFICIENCY ACCORDING TO IBN KHALDUN AND ABU YUSUF AND ITS IMPLEMENTATION IN MANAGEMENT OF INDONESIA’S STATE BUDGET https://ejournal.staialutsmani.ac.id/index.php/ithisom/article/view/360
This article discusses the concept of state budget efficiency in the thought of Ibn Khaldun and Abu Yusuf and its relevance to the management of Indonesia’s State Budget (APBN). The central issue examined is how budget efficiency should not merely be understood as spending cuts, but rather as fiscal governance that is fair, productive, trustworthy, and oriented toward the public good. This study employs a qualitative literature review approach with descriptive-analytical, comparative, and contextual characteristics. The primary sources are Ibn Khaldun’s Muqaddimah and Abu Yusuf’s Kitab al-Kharaj, while secondary sources include Islamic economic literature, public finance studies, State Budget documents, BPS data, and budget efficiency regulations in Indonesia. The results of the study indicate that Ibn Khaldun views fiscal efficiency through the relationship between taxes, societal productivity, and state stability, while Abu Yusuf emphasizes fiscal justice, the ruler’s trustworthiness, and the protection of the people from the injustice of taxation. In the Indonesian context, the ideas of both scholars are relevant for interpreting state budget efficiency policies so that they do not stop at nominal savings but are directed toward social protection, equity, economic productivity, and the public good.
Faisal Hidayat, Miftahurrahmah, Ainul Mardiah, Abdul Karim Hidayatullah, Maulidi Muhammad Copyright (c) 2026 I'THISOM : Jurnal Ekonomi Syariah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.staialutsmani.ac.id/index.php/ithisom/article/view/360 Thu, 30 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 IMPLEMENTASI AKAD IJARAH DALAM PRAKTIK SEWA-MENYEWA ALAT PERTANIAN DI DESA TALANG JAYA https://ejournal.staialutsmani.ac.id/index.php/ithisom/article/view/370

This study aims to analyze the practice of agricultural equipment rental and the implementation of the ijarah contract from the perspective of Sharia Economic Law in Talang Jaya Village, Sungai Menang District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This research employs a qualitative approach using field research with a descriptive-analytical method. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation involving one agricultural equipment owner and three renters as informants. The findings indicate that agricultural equipment rental practices are conducted orally based on local customs, trust, and mutual agreement between the owner and the renters. The rental object is the benefit derived from agricultural equipment, such as hand tractors and combine harvesters, with payment generally made after the harvest. From the perspective of Sharia Economic Law, this practice has fulfilled several elements of the ijarah contract, including the contracting parties, a clear rental object in the form of equipment benefits, and an agreed rental fee (ujrah). However, its implementation has not fully met the principle of contractual clarity because there is no written agreement, the duration of equipment use is not precisely determined, the mechanism for payment postponement in the event of crop failure is not clearly formulated, and the allocation of responsibility for equipment damage still depends on local customs. Therefore, agricultural equipment rental practices in Talang Jaya Village need to be improved through more structured agreements in order to align with the principles of justice, contractual clarity, legal certainty, and public benefit in Sharia Economic Law.

Tri Wahyu Ningsih, Khoiruddin, Apriansyah Copyright (c) 2026 I'THISOM : Jurnal Ekonomi Syariah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.staialutsmani.ac.id/index.php/ithisom/article/view/370 Thu, 30 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 ANALYSIS OF IMAM MALIK'S MASLAHAH ON THE SHOPEEPAY APPLICATION IN INDONESIA BASED ON DSN MUI FATWA NO. 116 DSN-MUI/IX/2017 https://ejournal.staialutsmani.ac.id/index.php/ithisom/article/view/372
This study aims to analyze ShopeePay in Indonesia from the perspective of Imam Malik’s concept of maslahah by referring to DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 116/DSN-MUI/IX/2017 concerning Sharia electronic money. This research employs a qualitative approach using library research with descriptive-analytical and normative juridical methods. The data were obtained from DSN-MUI fatwas, Islamic legal literature, books on ushul fiqh, journal articles, and regulations related to electronic money and Sharia fintech. The findings show that ShopeePay has the potential to provide maslahah through transaction efficiency, payment convenience, wider access to digital services, and support for digital economic activities. However, its Sharia compliance is conditional and depends on contract clarity, transparent fund management, transaction security, lawful transaction purposes, user protection, and the avoidance of riba, gharar, and maysir. From Imam Malik’s maslahah perspective, ShopeePay may be considered beneficial when it supports public welfare without contradicting Sharia principles. Nevertheless, features related to deferred payments, PayLater services, promotional schemes, and reward mechanisms require separate Sharia assessment because they may contain different legal implications. This study concludes that ShopeePay can be aligned with DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 116/DSN-MUI/IX/2017 if it is implemented as a transparent, secure, and responsible digital payment instrument. Strengthening Sharia supervision, user education, and clearer separation between payment services and credit-based features is necessary to ensure that ShopeePay contributes to a Sharia-compliant digital financial ecosystem in Indonesia.
Rahadiansyah, Qurratul A'ini, Sri Yuniati, Mashur Imam, Akhmad Khamdani Copyright (c) 2026 I'THISOM : Jurnal Ekonomi Syariah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.staialutsmani.ac.id/index.php/ithisom/article/view/372 Thu, 30 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 ZAKAT PRODUKTIF SEBAGAI INSTRUMEN DISTRIBUSI PENDAPATAN DI INDONESIA DALAM PERSPEKTIF EKONOMI ISLAM https://ejournal.staialutsmani.ac.id/index.php/ithisom/article/view/373
This study aims to analyze productive zakat as an instrument of income distribution in Indonesia from an Islamic economics perspective. The research employs A mixed methods approach that combines descriptive-analytical qualitative methods with descriptive statistical analysis. Data were collected through library research (studi kepustakaan), comprising primary and secondary sources including relevant books, scientific journals, Al-Qur'an, hadith, and government reports from BPS and BAZNAS. The findings reveal that productive zakat, when managed professionally and distributed in the form of business capital, productive equipment, and skills training, plays a significant role in improving the economic welfare of mustahiq and reducing income inequality. Zakat functions as a social and economic instrument that facilitates the redistribution of wealth from muzakki to mustahiq, in line with Islamic principles of justice ('adl) and balance (tawazun). Gini ratio data indicates a gradual decline in income inequality, while conceptually, productive zakat has the potential to serve as a supporting instrument for economic redistribution from an Islamic perspective.
Muhammad Fatkhur Rozy, Muhlis Copyright (c) 2026 I'THISOM : Jurnal Ekonomi Syariah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 https://ejournal.staialutsmani.ac.id/index.php/ithisom/article/view/373 Thu, 30 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700
