SINGERGI PENDIDIKAN DAN PENGABDIAN SOSIAL: REVITALISASI PENINGKATAN KUALITAS HIDUP MASYARAKAT PALALANGAN

This study explores the synergy between education and social service in an effort to revitalize and improve the quality of life of the Palalangan Village community, Cermee District, Bondowoso Regency. The service program includes orphan assistance, health counseling, and educational development. Orphan assistance aims to ease the economic burden of families and provide educational opportunities for children who have lost their parents. Health counseling, in collaboration with the Cermee Health Center, focuses on health services such as routine check-ups, vaccinations, and public health awareness. The educational development program supports Madrasah Diniyah (MADIN) to obtain operational permits and adequate facilities, as well as provide religious education and practical skills for children and adolescents. To observe and contribute effectively to this synergy, there are several practical stages that are implemented. First, the identification stage, which involves reading various social, cultural, economic, and religious perspectives of the community, as well as relevant literature to map problems and solutions related to the revitalization of the quality of life in Palalangan Village. Second, the data collection stage, which is carried out through socialization with the community, where the community service workers listen to and record social and educational problems faced by the community, and identify social and educational nuances with an empathetic approach. Third, the stage of participating in community service activities, namely by actively participating in social and educational events in Palalangan Village, which aim to improve community welfare and support the development of skills and knowledge. Fourth, the evaluation stage, namely assessing the effectiveness of community service involvement in social and educational activities, including feedback from participants and stakeholders and assessing the direct impact of the program. This evaluation is important to identify successes, challenges, and strategies for continuous improvement to meet community needs in the future
